Driving our field forward with innovative research
In addition to providing pediatric patients with world-class pulmonology care, we believe it's crucial to conduct research and clinical trials to consistently achieve the best possible outcomes.

Our pediatric pulmonologists conduct clinical research to help diagnose and treat patients with different conditions causing difficulty breathing. Some of the conditions we are researching include:

  • Childhood interstitial lung disease
  • Asthma
  • Airway abnormalities such as tracheomalacia or bronchomalacia
  • Pulmonary dysfunction in sickle cell disease

In addition, our Cystic Fibrosis Center is a therapeutics development center and a research site. The Center participates in many clinical trials for the latest medications being studied for the treatment of cystic fibrosis. Dependent upon specific criteria, you and your child may be invited to participate in clinical research at our Center. Please see the CFF clinical trial finder to see the exciting research we are currently participating in.
