Overview
Children have needs that go beyond the treatment of their cancer or blood disorder. Our multidisciplinary teams provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients and their families in a unique setting designed specifically for children, adolescents and young adults. We’re here to help your child through any difficult childhood disease he or she may have, from cancer to rare blood disorders.
Our expertise
Each of our teams consists of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, genetic counselors, pharmacists, psychologists, child life specialists and social workers. Our services are organized into pediatric oncology, pediatric hematology, advanced and supportive care, and experimental hematology and oncology. All services and programs are designed to accomplish our goal to:
- Provide personalized, high quality, family-centered care to children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders
- Use innovative laboratory research and treatment advances aimed at improving cure rates while minimizing side effects
- Provide expertise, training, and education for current and future leaders in the field of pediatric hematology/oncology through our accredited fellowship program
